My mom literally took my comp away from me, so don't prepay since I won't be able to do them for a while <<;; or be on dA much at all...

In this day and age, computers are a necessity. If you don't get your computer back... you won't be able to function as a productive member of this new society. (Sort of.)

Perhaps your argument to your mother is...

Can an artist create work without paper and paints? You run a legitimate business, and you can't function without your tools.

Hopefully, you'll get your computer/required moneymaking tool back soon.
