How can I improve my art? What mistakes do I keep doing, and what could I just do better?

...one should learn how to turn the subject matter into simple forms/shapes and draw from there, and draw from real animals. Whether this is an effective method or not, I don't know, because every time I try to sneak up to a rabbit it notices me and moves or runs away. I suppose another way to improve your art would be to learn how to move your arm quicker so you can draw things before they run away.
I can give no suggestions to the aesthetic or stylistic quality of your art. That's for you to explore.
Aside from that, though I've seen you do it before, some have suggested drawing characters in angles other than the 3/4 view so whoever you outsource (or ask for a trade/commission) will know what they look like from a different angle and can draw the character in different scenarios.
As for humans, try attending figure drawing sessions. Or get someone to model for you if there are none of those in the neighborhood.
And as for an unrelated question: If you could randomly break out into song at any time (and sing on-key), when and what would you sing?
